I'm Dave, I'm a secondary teacher, animator, skateboarder and harmonica player. I've been a record collector for 30 years and much of that time I have wanted to know where the musical ideas that I have heard and enjoyed came from. This drove me to read the liner notes on LPs, which has led me to follow many threads making various connections. This in turn has caused me to read more liner notes and quite a few books, and most importantly to find even more music to explore. I'm an enthusiast, rather than an expert, but I'm keen to share some of the connections, revelations and most importantly, the music that has led me to follow so many threads for so long.
